Our cousin Sarah graduated from OU today. We had so much fun at her graduation party! We saw soo many cousins, aunts and uncles (and grandma)! We were so happy to see our best friend cousin Molly Jane!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Gemma's first Thanksgiving in Shreveport, Louisiana with Chris' mom, sister and nephews.  This was Gemma's first long road trip, and she was an angel (well, most of the time)!  We had such a great time, we can't wait to see Grandma and Aunt Jessica at Christmas!

Our friends from Lafayette (who now live in Wichita), Jenny and Wes Geautreaux and their adorable son Wyatt, visited OKC this weekend. We met up for dinner, and had such a good time...especially Gemma and Wyatt!

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Today we visited Orr Family Farm with Aunt Megan and her friend Crystal.  We went on a hayride, train ride, and laughed at goats, sheep and pigs.  It was soo much fun!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Gemma!

Gemma turned 6 months old on Sunday, September 30th.  We celebrated by going to the horse races!  It must have been Gemma's good luck, because her unlucky parents actually won $15!

Gemma is growing up too fast!  She's crawling everywhere; you can't take your eyes off of her for one second.  I learned that the hard way, she somehow got stuck behind the couch!  She loves Vito, she chases him all over the house.  I don't think she'd be such a good crawler without him!  Vito loves her too, he likes to share his bones with her.  Gemma has been eating cereal and has just graduated to real food.  So far she's eaten avocado, tomato, bananas, and butternut squash.  Her favorite is avocado!  

It seems like yesterday we were packing up our house in Canada, with only a little bump in my belly.  Now we have a silly, beautiful, adventurous baby girl.  She is our world, we couldn't imagine life without her!  And we look forward to every moment we get to spend with her, loving her, teaching her and watching her grow.

5 Months!

Gemma turned 5 months old on Thursday!  Wow, how time flies!  She's rolling all over the place and trying so hard to crawl.  Her first tooth is trying to make an appearance too.  She's just growing up so fast!!

Weekend Fun

We had so much fun over the weekend!  We had a slew of visitors, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Brian and Michael flew in from South Carolina and Grandma, Aunt Jessica, Ethan and Tyler were here from Louisiana.  And Aunt Megan stopped by to visit too!
